Man killed in Laxmipur

Laxmipur, Aug 17 (UNB)-A man was allegedly stabbed to death by his brother-in-law at his in-laws house at Khidirpur village in Sadar upazila on Thursday night.

The victim was identified as Yusuf Patwari, son of Abdur Gafur of the same village.

Jakir Hossain, brother of the victim, said Yusuf went to his in-laws house as they called him where they locked into an altercation with him over land dispute at about 9 pm.

At one stage Bahar Uddin, brother-in-law of Yusuf stabbed him indiscriminately with a sharp weapon, leaving him critically injured.

Later, he died on the way to Sadar hospital.

A case was filed.
