Dhaka, Aug 8 (UNB) - Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Muhammad Enamul Bari, left Dhaka for Russia on Wednesday on a five-day official visit at the invitation of C-in-C of Air Forces of Russian Federation.

During his visit, Air Chief will attend the celebration of “100th Anniversary of Air Forces of Russia”.

Air Chiefs of different countries, representatives, senior military and civil officers will attend the celebration, said an ISPR release.

Besides, he will call on the participating Air Chiefs of different countries and senior officers and discuss various issues related to bilateral co-operation and mutual interests.

It is expected that the visit of the Air Chief will play an important role in strengthening the existing relations between Bangladesh Air Force and Russian Air Force.
