News - Bomang Circle king Aungshoi Prue passes away
Bandarban, Aug 8 (UNB) – Aungshoi Prue Chowdhury, the 15th king of Bomang Circle, passed away this (Wednesday) morning at the age of 98.

Family sources said the Bomang Circle chief complained of chest pain at about 9 am. He was rushed to Bandarban Sadar Hospital where doctors declared him dead.

Aungshoi Prue Chowdhury became the Bomang Circle king in 1998. He also held different important posts of the state.

A pall of gloom descended in the district following the death of the Bomang Circle chief.
