Bangladesh A to play Karnataka Colts in 2nd match on Wednesday

July 31 (UNB) - Touring Bangladesh A team will play their 2nd four-day group match of the Shafi Darashah Invitational Cricket Tournament against Karnataka State Cricket Association Colts XI beginning tomorrow (Wednesday) at the Bala Gangadhara Swamiji Ground in Bangalore.

The first four-day match between touring Bangladesh A and Baroda Cricket Association XI ended in draw on the fourth and final day at Karnataka State Cricket Association ground in Alur on Monday.

Baroda Cricket Association XI, which scored only 202 runs in the first innings, posted a comfortable 445 runs in the 2nd innings to throw a strong challenge for Bangladesh.

Bangladeshi spinner Enamul Haque Jr grabbed five wickets for 130 runs in the 2nd innings.

In reply, the 2nd string Bangladesh side, with their 1st innings total of 314 runs, opened the 2nd innings on the 4th and final day and scored 184 for 4 in 68 overs at stumps to settle for a draw.

Baroda CA first innings - 202 all out in 70.3 overs; AM Gupta 52, AA Waghmode 43, Enamul Haque Jr 3/67, Dollar Mahmud 2/18, Robiul Islam 2/30 and Shahadat Hossain 2/37.

2nd innings - 445 all out in 109.5 overs; Devdhar 91, Rayudu 86, Shah 76, Gupta 67, Enamul Haque Jr 5/130, Farhad Hossain 3/54
