Man killed in Tangail train accident

Tangail, July 22 (UNB)- A man died when a running train hit him at Masinda level crossing at Kalihati upazila on Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Narayan Chandra Das, 45, a trader of Palima village in the upazila.

Locals said Narayan died on the spot when a North-Bengal bound train hit him while he was engaged in taking over mobile phone and walking along the rail track at noon.

Railway police recovered the body.
