Youth held with stolen mobile phone sets in Magura

Magura, July 14 (UNB) – Police arrested a youth along with some stolen mobile phone sets at Binodpur village in Mohammadpur upazila on early Saturday.

The arrested was identified as Nazmul, 20, son of Saidur Rahman of the village.

Police said an organised gang of burglars swooped on GM Telecom Shop at Binodpur bazaar, breaking open the lock of the shop and stole valuables including 40 mobile phone sets late at night.

A case was filed with Mohammadpur thana in this connection.

Police on secret information arrested Nazmul and recovered some stolen mobile phone sets from his possession.

Mohammad Sagir Mia, officer-in-charge of Mohammadpur thana said they were trying to arrest the other burglars.
