Muhith leaves for Kolkata Wednesday

Dhaka, July 3 (UNB) - Finance Minister AMA Muhith leaves here for Kolkata on Wednesday to attend the Indo-Bangla joint celebrations of the 90th anniversary of the publication of ‘Bidrohi’ by National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam at Kolkata and Burdwan on July 4-6.

The Finance Minister will be accompanied by his son Shahed Muhith and daughter-in-law Mantasha Ahmed.

Muhith is scheduled to return home on Saturday.

Earlier, in May, Bangladesh and India jointly celebrated the 90th anniversary of national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam's famous poem ‘Bidrohee' and the poet's 113th birth anniversary in Dhaka.
