Girl found dead in Sherpur

Sherpur, June 30 (UNB) - Police recovered the body of an unidentified girl, aged about 20, from a hillock in Rajar Pahar area of Sribordi upazila on Friday.

Local people found the body in the area at about 11am and informed the police.

Later, the law enforcers recovered the body that bore some stab injury marks and sent it to hospital morgue for autopsy.
Sribordi thana OC PSM Mostasinur Rahman suspected that miscreants killed the victim after rape elsewhere and dumped the body in the hillock.

A case was filed in this connection.
