Young man held with arms in Sylhet

Sylhet, June 21(UNB) - Police arrested a young man along with two foreign pistols and two knives from his house at Mogla Bazar in Doni Surma upazila early Wednesday.

The arrestee was identified as Abul Hossain, 28, son of late Khurshed Ali of Doni Noikhai village of the upazila.

Police said on secret information, they raided Abul’s house at about 2am and arrested him. Police also recovered the pistols and knives from his house.

Mogla Bazar thana OC Mursalin said Abul was wanted in several cases including robbery. A case was filed.
