Natore, June 20 (UNB) - A freedom fighter was killed in a road accident at Agran Bazar in Baraigram upazila on Wednesday.

The deceased was identified as Matiur Rahman, 60, who hailed from Sartail area in Tangail district town.

Police said a speedy bus hit him when he was crossing the road, leaving him dead on the spot in the morning.

Matiur, who came here to visit his relative’s house, met the accident soon after getting down from a bus from Tangail.
