Dhaka, June 17 (UNB) – Kuwait is keen to invest in Bangladesh’s civil aviation and tourism sector as the country has huge potentials in the sector.
The offer came when Ambassador of Kuwait in Dhaka Ali Ahmad Ibrahim Al-Dhafiri met Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister M Faruk Khan at the Secretariat on Sunday.
During the meeting, Ali Ahmad said tourism is a potential sector in Bangladesh, and bilateral relations between two countries will get a boost following Kuwait’s investment in this sector.
About manpower import, he said Kuwait is considering hiring more skilled and unskilled workers from Bangladesh.
Faruk Khan said Bangladesh will welcome investment from Kuwait and urged the Kuwait envoy to invest from Kuwait Fund in Bangladesh.
