3 Shibir men held in Chandpur

Chandpur, June 17 (UNB) - Police arrested three activists of Islami Chhatra Shibir from a procession at Muktijoddha Sarak in district town on Saturday evening.

The arrestees were identified as Abu Musa, 17, son of Dudu Gazi, Zahidul Islam, 16, son of Khwaja Ahmed Sheikh of Laxmipur village in Sadar upazila and Mahmudul Hasan, 18, son of Hanif Patwary of Guakhola area of the district town.

Sadar Model Thana OC Mahbub Morshed said they arrested them at about 6pm when they brought out a procession as part of the central program in protest against the inhuman tortures on the innocent Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar.
