Int’l workshop on disaster held in city

Dhaka, June 16 (UNB) – A daylong international workshop titled “Human Security and Natural Disaster: Bangladesh Perspective” was held in the city on Saturday.

Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) and Comprehensive Disaster Management Programme jointly organized the event at Defence Services Command and Staff College at Mirpur Cantonment.

Environment and Forest Minister Dr. Hasan Mahmud attended the occasion as the chief guest.

University teachers, senior officers of armed forces and participants from abroad were present.
