Dhaka, June 15 (UNB) – Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) president Manzurul Ahsan Khan on Friday called for reopening of all closed garment factories on the basis of tripartite consensus immediately.

Addressing a meeting at Palli Bidyut in Ashulia, he also called upon the workers to hold discussion with garment owners by keeping their factories open.

The meeting was held as the activists of Savar upazila unit CPB carrying national and red flags arrived at the place in the afternoon.

The CPB leader demanded the trial of killing of all garment workers.

He also accused the USA and other foreign states of hatching conspiracy against the country.

Other central and local leaders of CPB also addressed the occasion.
