Terrorist held with arms in Jhenidah

Jhenidah, June 14 (UNB) – Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) members arrested an alleged  terrorist along with a foreign made 9mm pistol and two rounds of bullet from a scrap shop in Paglakanai area of the district town on Wednesday.

The arrestee was identified as Rabiul Islam, son of Abdus Sabur of the area.

RAB sources said on secret information they raided in the shop and arrested Rabiul at about 7pm.They also recovered the pistol and bullets from his possession.

The elite force said he was involved with different criminal activities in the town since long.

A case was filed against him under Arms Act.
