Boy burned to death in Ctg fire
Chittagong, June 1 (UNB) - A minor boy was burned to death as a fire broke out in a colony of low-income group people in Saraipara area under Pahartoli thana early Friday.
The deceased was identified as Mamun, 11, son of Abdus Salam of Noakhali district.
Police said the fire broke out in the colony owned by Nur Hossain from electric short circuit at about 4:45am and soon burned down the kutcha houses of the colony.
Mamun could not come out from the burning house as he was asleep.
Later, his charred body was recovered by the local people.
