Dhaka, Mar 18 (UNB) - The Chief of Indian Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal NAK Browne, along with his wife Kiran Browne, arrived here today (Sunday) on a four-day official visit to Bangladesh.
The Indian Air Chief is being accompanied by a delegation consisting of Air Commodore SC Chafekar and Wing Commander Gerald Galway.
Air Chief Marshal Browne arrived by a special aircraft of Indian Air Force that landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 4:30 pm, said a release of the Indian High Commission.
During his visit to Bangladesh, the Chief of Indian Air Staff will call on President Zillur Rahman and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
He will also call on the three Chiefs of Staff and PSO Armed Forces Division. He is scheduled to visit Bangladesh Air Force bases in Jessore and Dhaka.
Mrs Kiran Browne, who is the President of Indian Air Force Wives Welfare Association, will also interact with the Regional Bangladesh Air Force Wives Welfare Association ladies and visit the Golden Nursery School in Dhaka Cantonment.
The Chief of Indian Air Force will leave here for New Delhi on March 23.
