Dhaka, Mar 18 (UNB) – Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – got off to a flying start with share prices at both the bourses witnessing sharp gains in the early trading on Sunday, the first trading day of the week.

The DSE benchmark index, DGEN, gained 116.94 points or 2.57 percent to reach 4660.39 at 11:30am today. Of the issues traded till then, 209 advanced, 4 declined and no issues remained unchanged.

Meanwhile, the CSE key index, CSCX, gained 192.98 points to stand at 8577.38 also at 11:30am.

Of the issues traded by the time, 105 gained, 11 suffered loss and 8 remained unchanged.
