
Dhaka, Mar 16 (UNB) - A delegation of Youth Initiative UK (YIU), a UK-based organisation of Bangladeshis, has expressed its interest in social business and sought advice from Prof Dr Muhammad Yunus.
The delegation members showed their interest when they met the Nobel Laureate in London on March 8, according to message received here on Friday.
They apprised Dr Yunus that YIU has taken an initiative to promote sustainable use of Jute and Cotton Bags (Eco Bags) as a substitute for poly bags in the UK.
YIU chairperson Mohammad Haseeb, project officer Syed Rabius, monitoring officer Esrat Jahan Mita and volunteer A Khan were among the delegation members.
