British HC meets Sylhet Mayor

Sylhet, Feb 28 (UNB) - British High Commissioner to Bangladesh Robert Gibson paid a courtesy call on Sylhet City Corporation Mayor Badar Uddin Ahmed Kamran at his office on Tuesday.

During the meeting, Gibson said Britain is working to ensure facilities for the Bangladeshi expatriates in UK.

He said that Britain will always extend its hands of cooperation for development of all sectors, including health and education, of Bangladesh.

He sought cooperation from Kamran in this connection.

Mayor Kamran assured of extending allout cooperation. The Mayor hoped the bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Britain would further be increased in the years to come.
