2-day int’l conference on Marine Technology concludes at BUET

Dhaka, Dec 12 (UNB) - A two-day international conference on Marine Technology concluded at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) on Sunday.

Department of Naval Architect and Marine Engineering of BUET organized the conference.

BUET Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr SM Nazrul Islam, Chief Executive Officer of the Royal Institute of Naval Architects UK Trevor Blakeley, among others, addressed the occasion.

About 150 researchers from all over the world participated at the MARTEC-2010 conference. Six experts from the UK, Japan, Korea, Canada and Malaysia delivered keynote papers on the recent development of marine technology in two keynote sessions.
