TIB invites cartoons on corruption

Dhaka, June 25 (UNB) – Transparency International, Bangladesh has called for cartoons on corruption for the 7th Anti-Corruption Cartoon Competition, marking the International Anti-Corruption Day, 2012.The cartoons must depict the corruption scenario of the country or may suggest ways to curb the menace, said a press release on Monday.Cartoons should be sent under two groups – “ka” (aged 13-18) and “kha” (aged 19-35) – to the address of TIB’s office in Dhaka (House 141, Road 12, Block E, Banani, Dhaka 1213) . The last date for the submission is August 30, 2012.TIB will award the best 36 cartoons in the competition, the release added.TIB has been organising cartoon competition since 2006 as part of its campaign against graft marking the International Anti-Corruption Day on December 9.
