1 killed in bus plunge in Nababganj

Keraniganj, June 25 (UNB) –A man was killed and 15 others injured when a bus plunged into a roadside ditch at Dohar-Nababganj road in Nababganj upazila in Dhaka on Monday.The deceased was identified as Imran Hossain of Joypara village in Dohar upazila.Witnesses said the accident took place at Chatla area at about 1 pm when a bus fell into a roadside ditch while giving side to rickshaw, coming from opposite direction, leaving one killed on the spot and others injured.The injured were rushed to different clinics.None was found inside the sunken bus when divers from Keraniganj fire service launched a search operation.Nababganj thana officer-in-charge Masud Karim confirmed the incident.
